A. With Other Users

We may share limited information with other users as necessary to operate bookings and App features, such as:

We may disclose information where reasonably necessary to:

We request these permissions to support specific App functions, not for unrelated purposes. You can usually manage these permissions through your device settings, although disabling them may limit App functionality.

Apple requires App Store privacy disclosures to accurately describe the data practices of the app and integrated third-party code, and Google Play requires accurate privacy, Data safety, and deletion disclosures. (Apple Developer)

8. Cookies, Tracking, and Similar Technologies

The App and related services may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to:

  • keep you signed in;
  • remember preferences;

  • analyze App usage;
  • help secure the App;
  • and support communications and operations.

Where required by law, we will seek any necessary consent for certain tracking or analytics activities.

9. Data Storage, Cross-Border Processing, and Retention

Your personal information may be stored or processed in Canada or in other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate.

As a result, your information may be subject to the laws of those other jurisdictions.

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy;
  • operate the App and your account;
  • process payments, payouts, and disputes;
  • maintain business and legal records;
  • comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;

When information is no longer reasonably required, we will delete, anonymize, or securely destroy it, subject to technical and legal constraints.

10. Protection of Personal Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to help protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

These measures may include access controls, account protections, restricted internal access, secure service providers, and other reasonable safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

No method of transmission over the internet, mobile network, or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Alberta PIPA requires organizations subject to it to develop and follow reasonable policies and safeguards for personal information. (Alberta.ca)

11. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

12. Account Deletion

If you create an account through the App, you may request or initiate account deletion:

  • through the in-App deletion process we make available; and
  • through the web-based deletion request process we maintain.

Account deletion may require verification.

Deleting your account may not result in immediate or complete deletion of all related information where retention is reasonably necessary or legally required, including for:

  • completed transactions;
  • tax and accounting records;
  • fraud prevention;
  • dispute resolution;
  • legal compliance;
  • safety investigations;
  • policy enforcement; and
  • technical backup or security processes.

Apple requires apps that support account creation to allow users to initiate account deletion in the app, and Google Play requires an in-app deletion path plus a web link for deletion requests. (Apple Developer)

13. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly permit children to create accounts or use the App. If we learn that personal information has been collected from a person under 18 in a way that violates our policies or applicable law, we may take steps to delete the information and disable the account.

14. Third-Party Services

The App may use or link to third-party tools, providers, or services. Their own privacy practices may apply to information they process on our behalf or receive directly from you.

Examples may include providers for:

  • payments and payouts;
  • hosting and infrastructure;
  • communications;
  • customer support;
  • analytics;
  • verification;
  • and security.

We encourage you to review relevant third-party privacy materials where appropriate.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any updates will be posted in the App, on our website, or through another reasonable method, together with the revised effective date.

If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice where required by law. Your continued use of the App after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated version, unless applicable law requires a different form of consent.
